1. Who we are

This website (djursdesign.dk) is run by Djurs Design, operated by Mihael Softic. Djurs Design is in the process of relocating to Grenaa, Djursland, Denmark; until that move and any related business registration is complete, the fastest way to reach us is by email below.

2. What this site collects

Djursdesign.dk is a small business website. It has no accounts, no login, and no contact form that stores data on our servers. We collect very little:

• If you email us ([email protected]) — whatever you choose to include: your name, email address, and message. This arrives through our email provider, Purelymail, and is not shared further.
• Automatically, via Google Analytics — pages visited, time on page, approximate location (city/country level), browser and device type, and referring site. This only runs if you accept analytics cookies (see below).
• Automatically, via Cloudflare— our CDN and security provider processes every request to this site (including your IP address) to keep it fast and safe from abuse. This runs regardless of cookie choices, as it's needed to serve the page at all.

3. Cookies

You can set your preferences any time through the cookie banner, or by clearing your browser's local storage for this site.

• Essential— none are set by us specifically; Cloudflare may set a small number for security (e.g. bot protection). Always active, can't be turned off.
• Analytics (optional)— Google Analytics, to see which pages are useful and which aren't.
• Advertising (optional, not yet active) — Google AdSense. We plan to add ads only to Blog articles, never to the homepage. This section of the policy is written in advance so nothing changes for you if we switch it on.

We store your cookie choice in your browser's local storage, not in a cookie itself, and not on our servers.

4. Legal basis (GDPR)

As we're based in the EU, here's the basis for each type of processing:

• Consent — analytics and advertising cookies (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).
• Legitimate interest — security and abuse prevention via Cloudflare (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Pre-contractual / contact — replying to emails you send us (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).

5. Third-party services

• Google Analytics — Google Privacy Policy

6. Data retention

We don't operate accounts or a database of visitors, so there's little to retain. Emails you send us are kept as long as needed to handle your enquiry, then deleted or archived. Google Analytics data follows Google's own retention settings (currently 14 months).

7. Your rights

Under GDPR, you can ask us to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you (mainly: emails you've sent us), and you can withdraw cookie consent at any time. Contact [email protected]. You can also complain to your local data protection authority — in Denmark, that's Datatilsynet.

8. International transfers

Google and Cloudflare may process data outside the EEA (principally the US), under their own standard contractual safeguards.

9. Changes

If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
