How We Make Our Content
A short, honest note — not because we're forced to, but because it fits how we already talk to you.
The short version
We use AI tools, including Claude, as part of writing our blog and creating some of the illustrations you see here. Every article is reviewed and edited by a real person before it's published — nothing goes up unread. Some of the artwork on the blog is AI-generated, in an obviously stylized, cartoon style — not meant to look like real photos or real events.
Why we're saying this
As of 2 August 2026, the EU's AI Act (Article 50) requires businesses to be clear about AI-generated content in certain cases — mainly realistic ("deepfake"-style) images, video, or text published without human review. Most of what we do here — edited, human-reviewed articles and clearly cartoonish illustrations — likely falls outside what the law actually requires labeling for. We're noting it anyway, because "trust but verify" applies to us too, not just to your website's SEO claims.
What this doesn't mean
It doesn't mean the advice is any less considered, or that a person didn't sit down and think about what we're telling you. It means we're upfront about the tools we use, the same way we'd expect any business we work with to be upfront about theirs.
